What led you to your current position/Why do you do this work?
I started as an All-In! CIS intern at Cox Academy last year, while in my second year of my Masters in Social Work program at Cal. Because I used to be a teacher, I was interested in All-In!'s three-tiered approach and the opportunity to work in a school environment with all levels of students, families, and teachers.
Fun Fact:
I'm 1/2 kiwi (New Zealand citizen) and really excited to be travelling back to visit family over there for Christmas this year!
What does your average day look like?
A few individual therapy and family meetings sprinkled throughout the day, with lots of pushing into classrooms, supporting students and teachers in need, and leading a couple groups!
What hope do you have for the future of All-In?
More training in and support structures within Tiers 1 and 2.
